DEATH ROLL
A wire received by relatives in the city this morning advised of the death at 7:30 o'clock this morning of W.H. Ricks, who had been confined at the St. Paul's Sanitarium in Dallas for the past several months.
Mr. Ricks was formerly employed by the Katy in the local shops but owing to failing health he was placed in the Dallas hospital for treatment.  The deceased was 66 years of age.
The remains will arrive in the city tonight and will be prepared for burial by the George Shields Undertaking establishment.
Funeral services will be conducted from the residence at 621 East Morton street Wednesday afternoon.   Interment will be made at Oakwood Cemetery.

MRS. SARAH RICKS DIES AT LULING
Mrs. Sarah Ricks, 72, of Hammon, Indiana, a former resident of Denison for 30 years, died suddenly Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.B. Crow, at Luling, where she was visiting.
Mrs. Ricks had lived with her son, Perry Ricks, at Hammond for the past ten years.  She formerly resided here at 631 E.Morton street.
Remains were being shipped by rail here and funeral services will be held Friday with George Shields in charge.
Surviving are two sons, Perry of Hammond and E.H. of Chicago; and two daughters, Mrs. Crow of Luling and Mrs. E. Anderson of Hammond.
