 Denison  Section 7  Cora Burget 1874 - 1953 Ed Burget 1868 - 1948 The Denison Press Friday, May 7, 1948 pg. 2 DEATHS Funeral services for Ed Burget were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Bratcher-Moore Funeral home for Ed Burget, who died at the Katy hospital Wednesday morning following an illness of several months. Rev.Lenton Poss officiated with Bratcher-Moore directing. Interment was at Oakwood. Mr. Burget was born at Whiterock September 13, 1868, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Burget. His education was received in Grayson County. December 25, 1895 he was married to Miss Cora Frost, who survives him along with a son, Ben Burget, and daughter Miss Dean Burget, both of Denison, and two grandchildren. A member of the First Christian Church since its founding and an employe of the Katy since 1900 until he retired in 1937. He ran an engine on the Katy for several years. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World, the B. of L.F. and E., and of the Men's Bible Class of the First Christian since it was founded.
