Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Arizona Diehl, 53, who died in a local hospital Saturday.  She resided at Calera, Oklahoma.  Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery, with Rev. L.R. Lamb officiating at the funeral.
Born in Fannin County, Texas, December 1, 1889, her parents were Mr. and Mrs. J.K. Johnson, and the family moved to Calera, Oklahoma, when she was 11 years of age.  She was married at that place to Walter Diehl, her husband, being engaged in the garage business.
She spent the three weeks before her death with a sister in Denison, Mrs. W.L. Crittenden, while receiving treatment.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Walter and J.K., the former with the U.S. Armed forces and the latter residing here.  Daughters are Miss Katherine Diehl, Calera; Mrs. Mabel Patton, Calera;  Miss Scharlyne Diehl, Beaumont; and Mrs. Bettie Lou Stout, Sherman.  Brothers are Charles Johnson, Denison; and W.A. Johnson, Calera.  Sisters are Mrs. W.L. Crittenden, Denison; Mrs. Annie Huskey, Calera; and Mrs. Jose Burton, Hunting Park, California.
