LOCAL CONDENSATIONS
Wednesday, July 31 - John Nicewarner, an old and respected citizen Denison, died yesterday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T.D. Hart, in Texarkana.  He was one of the old landmarks of Denison, casting his lot here over 20 years ago.  He was twice a candidate for justice of the peace.  He is better known, however, as watchman on the M.K.&T., in which capacity he served for about ten years.
Mr. Nicewarner was born in Ohio in 1827 and was 74 years old at the time of his death.  Besides Mrs. Hart, he leaves another daughter, Mrs. Laura Beal, and a son, Charles, all of whom live at Texarkana, and a son, T.A. Nicewarner, at Poplar Bluff, MIssouri.
The body was shipped here in care of the children and interred at Oakwood cemetery, Rev. A.F. Bishop conducting the services at the grave.
