Wertz 1860 - 1942 The Denison Press Friday, October 21, 1955 pg. 5 Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Wednesday morning for Edgar H. Mullen, 73, who died at his home, 731 Florence, Monday after a long illness. Rev. Ed Bayless conducted the service and interment was in Oakwood Cemetery. Mullen was born in Decatur, Illinois, June 29, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. B.D. Mullen. He had lived in Denison for forty years, and was living in the Eisenhower birthplace when that home was purchased by the city to be converted into a shrine. Mullen had no immediate relatives.
