Leipse 7 April 1884 - 25 November 1942 The Denison Press Friday, December 4, 1942 pg. 5 Following a ten day illness, Robert Lee Leipse, 58, died at a local hospital Thursday. Funeral services were conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the Episcopal church, Rev. Raymond S. Ottensmeyer officiating. Interment was at Oakwood with Short-Murray directing. Born in Denton, April 6, 1884 [sic], he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Leipse, where he was reared and received his education. He moved to Denison about 35 years ago. He was married at Quannah to Miss Ruby Hart, June 1, 1927. He followed the carpenter and contractor trade for several years. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Lee and Ted, of Houston and Howe, respectively. A daughter, Mrs. H.G. McBurnett, lives at Houston. Sisters are Mrs. W.W. Lalonde, Austin, and Mrs. L.C. Sailers, Dallas.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
