Funeral services for Mrs. WIllie B. Guynes, 44, were scheduled for Thursday afternoon at the Funderburk Funeral Home with Dr. B.N. Ramsay officiating.  Burial in Oakwood Cemetery with Funderburk in charge.
Mrs. Guynes died at a local hospital Tuesday morning at 2:40 after an illness of 60 days.  The Guynes home is at 117 E. Bond.
She was born in Leonard February 3, 1909, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. McCarroll.  She attended Denison schools and was married in Durant April 18, 1931 to W.K. Guynes.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Gate City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are her husband and a daughter, Miss Patsy Guynes, all of Denison.
Pallbearers were Arthur Maxwell, Cecil Taylor, Leland Dyer, Leslie Mitchel and Oscar Hodge.
