Denison - Services for Mrs. Nettie Lee Zabel, 84, Denison housewife who died Tuesday at a Dallas hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. A.D. Campbell.
Burial wil be at Oakwood Cemetery.
Born in Indian Territory near Platter, Oklahoma, Mrs. Zabel was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Fisher and married Fred A. Zabel on December 5, 1909 ata Durant, Oklahoma.  She was a member of the Christian church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Suriving are sons, Douglas and F.A. Zabel, Jr., both of Platter; daughters, Mrs. Marie Cook of Garland and Mrs. Louise Mulkey of Denison; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Burton of Ft. Worth; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Harold H. Rogers, Skeet Gaines, Alvin Oldham, George Moon, E.B. Blalock and Terry Eads.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight and at other times at the home of Mrs. H.E. Mulkey, 400 W. Morgan.
