Silcox 5 September 1894 - 11 November 1899 The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, November 19, 1899 pg. 4 LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Wednesday, November 15 - Claude Silcox, the little son of C.H. Silcox, an employe of the railway shops here, and grandson of Mrs. Minnie Mershon, died of membranous croup Saturday morning and was laid to rest in Oakwood Sunday afternoon. The mother, Mrs. G.W. Carpenter of Cleveland, Ohio, was not present at the bedside of her baby, Claude SIlcox, because of the severe illness of her husband, G.W. Carpenter.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
