DEATH ROLL
Following an illness of four days, R.W. Measles, 67, route 2, died at a local hospital at 8:40 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2:30 from Short-Murray chapel with Rev. L.R. Lamb, pastor of Calvary Baptist church, officiating.  Interment was at Oakwood with Short-Murray directing.
Mr. Measles was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Measles, and was born at Paris, Feb. 8, 1874.  He was married at Bonham to Miss Mary Aldridge April 25, 1898.
Surviving are his widow and one son, Robert of Fenton, Michigan, and 2 daughters, Mrs. Virgil Allen, Denison and Mrs. Joe M. Hickey, Donaldson, Arkansas.  A brother, John, of Los Angeles and 2 sisters, Mrs. F.A. Gill, Madill, Oklahoma. and Mrs. Maggie Wolfe, Greenville, Texas also survive, besides 16 grandchildren.
