 Denison  Section 3  Manuel DeFratus 1849 - 1917 Thankful DeFratus 1853 - 1921 w/o Manuel DeFratus The Denison Herald Friday, August 21, 1921 Mrs. DeFratus, Resident of Denison 35 Years, Dies Mrs. Thankful DeFratus, age 68 years, died at her home, 705 West Munson street, at 4:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. She had been ill only a few days and her death was the result of complications. Funeral services will be held from the Trinity Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, followed by burial in Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. DeFratus is survived by four sons and two daughters: LaVerne, Frank, Charles, Ralph, Mrs. Hattie Bullock, Mrs. Ezra Arnsworthy and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Agnes DeFratus. The deceased had lived in and near Denison for the past thirty-five years.
