 Denison  Section 2  M.J. Franklin 17 March 1840 - 20 February 1888 The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, February 26, 1888 DIED Mr. M.J. Frankin, who has been engaged in the nursery business for several years in this city, died at his home in the west part of town Monday afternoon after an illness of only 30 hours. The funeral took place from the Baptist church on Tuesday aftrenoon at 3 o'clock. Interment at Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Franklin was an old resident of the city and was at one time a member of the police force. He leaves a wie and one child to mourn his untimely taking off.
