BOY KILLED
Frank Elmore, who had been driving a delivery wagon for Alex W. Campbell, was almost instantly killed at an early hour Monday morning while in the act of picking up a live wire on the 1300 block, West Woodard street.  The wire had fallen down some time Sunday night.
The accident was observed by Mrs. Maddox, who was posted as sentinel to warn people of the danger.  The boy in the delivery wagon stopped his wagon at the wire.  Mrs. Maddox supposing he was a lineman who had come to make repairs, said nothing.  The boy, thinking the current had been cut off, picked up the wire and was almost instantly killed, receiving 2,300 volts.
The inquest held by Judge French developed the above facts.
Frank Elmore was about 21 years of age.
