Funeral services for Mrs. George Hinkle, 68, were held at Johnson-Moore chapel Thursday, October 2, with the Rev. Lawrence Gholson officiating.  Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Hinkle died in a local hospital Wednesday, October 1, at 12:01 a.m., after seven years of illness.  She lived at 229 West Monterey.
Mrs. Hinkle was born in Tennessee, May 14, 1890, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lueter.  She received her education in Tennessee and Texas schools and was married in Red Oak, Texas December 17, 1905 to George Hinkle.  They lived in Ellis county before coming to Denison 33 years ago.  She was a member of the Nazarene church.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, the Rev. Fred Hinkle, Tishomingo, Oklahoma and Jesse Hinkle, Turn Falls, Idaho; four daughters, Mrs. Walter Baker and Miss Myrtle Hinkle, Denison; Mrs. Ruby Foster, Ontario, California; and Mrs. Joseph Gossman, Puento, California; a brother, Floyd Lueter, Valley View, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Cassey Noland, Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Walter Gentry, Dallas; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
