Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Carr, 630 W. Coffin, announce the birth of a daughter, Edythe Linnette, weighing two pounds, 7 ounces at 5:00 p.m. July 12.

Graveside services were held at Oakwood Cemetery Saturday afternoon for eight-day-old Edith Annette Carr, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Carr, 630 W. Coffin, who died Friday evening at a local hospital.  The Rev. Reuben Jackson conducted the service, with Funderburk Funeral directors in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are the parents; a brother, Joel; two sisters, Donna Jean and Sharron, all of Denison and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Hancock, of Pottsboro.
