CONDENSED HOME NEWS
W.T. Odum, night switchman, was killed at the Ray Yards Monday night.  It is supposed that he fell between the cars.  Odum's left arm was lying across a rail, almost severed from his body and his body was pinioned down by the column bolts of the trucks.  He was lying on the same track, No. 20, on which he had been riding the string of cars.  The body was badly crushed.  His watch was broken and had stopped at 9:05, probably the time of his death.
The remains were taken to the undertaking establishiment of Davis & Nimon.
The deceased had been a resident of Denison for about one year.
He leaves a wife and five children.
He was a member of the O.R.C., at Longiew, Texas, and was also a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Macabees.
