A SUDDEN DEATH
Thomas L. Noble, the Victim of a Peculiar Heart Affection

About 2 weeks ago Mr. Thomas L. Noble, an insurance agent of Wichita, Kansas, arrived in Denison, expecting to spent the winter.  He secured board and lodging at the boarding house of Mrs. Wilson on West Owings street, and had begun solicitations for his company.  Tow or 3 years ago he suffered from a very servere attack of Lagrippe, since which time his health has been very poor.  Before entering the insurance business he was a temperance lecturer, and among his effects at his room was a large scrap book, filled with complimentary notices from the Kansas press.  Saturday of last week he visited the office of Dr. Acheson, an old friends and acquaintance, and on examination it was learned that his heart action was only 24 pulsations per minute, and that occasionally it was only 22.  Sunday, while walking along West Main street, he was overcome by exhaustion and was carried home in a carriage.  Monday morning he took a short walk, and on returning home sank into an unconscious condition and died about 11 o'clock.  His remains were taken to Messrs. Morris & Harriman, undertakers, and prepared for burial.  Before death he requested Dr. Acheson to call in the physicians of the city and hold a post mortem examination.  Tuesday morning the request was complied with, and Tuesday evening, under the auspices of the Masons and the Grand Army of the Republic, his remains were interred in Oakwood Cemetery.
