Ashinhurst 27 December 1869 - 24 April 1956 The Denison Press Friday, May 4, 1956 Pg. 5 Bratcher-Moore was in charge of the funeral for Mrs. Esther [sic[ Ashinhurst, 86, of 810 W. Coffin, who died at her home Tuesday, April 24, after six years of illness. Services were conducted at the chapel Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Vernon Price, officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. Ashinhurst was born in Albany, Kentucky December 27, 1869. She had lived in Sulphur Springs before coming to Denison 48 years ago. Survivors are a son, A.C. Ashinhurst, Denison; four sisters, Mrs. H.C. Shaffer, Mrs. R.L. Kidd, Mrs. F.J. Lueb, all of Denison and Mrs. K.E. Flinn of Faxon, Oklahoma; five grandson and six great-grandchildren.
