DIED
Mrs. Elizabeth Winchell, who has been a resident of Denison for the past twenty years and more, died Wednesday after a prolonged spell of illness.  In the death of Mrs. Winchell another link has dropped out in the chain which binds us to pioneer days.  The deceased was well known for her hospitality, beneveolence and love of children.  For a number of years she conducted a boarding house, at which railway men made their headquarters.  They were greatly attached to the old lady, who made her hospitable roof like home to them.  She was a good mother, which expresses all that is beautiful in home life.  Mrs. Winchell at the time of death was over 62 years of age.  The funeral took place Thursday at 3 p.m. from the Catholic church.  The internment was at the Oakwood cemetery, where her husband Tom Winchell, sleeps.  There was a large concourse of mourners.
