MRS. HUTCHINS DIES; FUNERAL SET MONDAY
Mrs. J.D. Hutchins, 58, veteran Denison sales woman, died at 10:55 a.m. Saturday at a local hospital, where she had been a patient for the past 3 weeks, after a 9-months' illness.  A resident of Denison 40 years, she made her home at 211 West Morton.
Daughther of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Noel, Mrs. Hutchins was born in Warsaw, Indiana, February 18, 1889.  She was educated in Warsaw and at South Bend (Indiana) Business College before her marriage to J.C. Hutchins February 8, 1919.  She was a member of the United Brethren Church.
Employed at J.W. Madden Co. for 12 years, Mrs. Hutchins took leave of the store to enter the grocery business with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Nova Hutchins, at 422 North Houston for 6 years before returning to Madden's employ.  Since the Madden fire she has worked at the Harry Bodkin Grocery and Market on North Houston.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Elwilda Green of Denison; a brother, F.V. Bierce of Denison; and a niece, Mrs. Audrey Perry of Grand Lane, Louisiana.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Bratcher-Moore chapel with Rev. Bruce Hibbit, pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
