The Denison Press Thursday, July 4, 1935 pg. 1 Funeral Services for Mrs. Nancy Jane Howard, who died Wednesday night at her residence in the Starr community, were held Thursday afternoon from the Geo. Shields Funeral Home. H.L. Gentry was in charge with Shields directing. Burial was made in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Howard was born in Alabama July 14, 1858. She moved to Texas in 1870. Surviving are her husband, Alex S. Howard; four sons, W.M. Howard, Los Angeles, California; C.A. Howard, Dallas; and Joe and Robert Howard, Denison; three daughters, Mrs. Mamie Young and Mrs. Minnie Young of Denison; Mrs. Ada Beall, Sherman; and twenty-two grandchildren.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
