Miss Alice C. Allen, 66, resident of Denison 40 years, died suddenly this morning at 7:59 at her home, 830 W. Monterey, following a stroke of paralysis.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Denison Funeral Home chapel. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery.
Miss Allen was born December 1, 1874 at St. Jo, Montague County, Texas, daughter of J.S.and Sarah Allen and was reared and educated there. She came to Denison from St. Jo in 1900 and was a member of the Baptist church. She has no surviving relatives.
