The Denison Press Friday, July 12, 1957 pg. 3 Mrs. Sarah Ann Dunaway, 80, died Saturday, July 6 at 10 p.m. at 1000 W. Baker after one year of illness. Her home was at 515 W. Star and she had lived in Denison 45 years. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Bratcher Chapel with the Rev. V.D. Price officiating. Burial was in Oakwood. Mrs. Dunaway was born in Nashville, Tennessee, September 26, 1876. She was married in 1896 to Walter Scott Dunaway. She lived in Wichita Falls before coming to Denison, and she was a member of the Sunnyside Baptist Church. Survivors are four sons: L.A. Dunaway of Fort Worth; A.M., A.L. and C.J. Dunaway, all of Denison; two daughters, Mrs. Blanch Babbin, Montebella, California; and Mrs. Idabel Melton, Denison; a brother, Hugh Strickland, Greenville and 32 grandchildren.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
