December 9, 1949 pg. 5 George C. Brown, 1821 Woodlawn, who died December 4th at 6:30 p.m. was buried Tuesday morning, with funeral services held by Otto Johnson, from the Bratcher-Moore funeral home. Interment was at Oakwood with Bratcher-Moore directing. Born July 17, 1887, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. Brown of Lynn Grove, Kentucky. He was married to Mrs. Emma O. Norman April 30, 1926. He was a retired stationary engineer and had worked for the Katy. Surviving are his widow of this city; a son, Nagel Brown of Bartlesville, Ohio; a stepson, Bernard Norman of Denison. Also 3 brothers, Carl of Albuquerque, and Clyde and Justice of Ft. Sumners, New Mexico; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Morrison who lives at Ft. Sumners, New Mexico.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
