The funeral took place Tuesday, interment at Oakwood Cemetery. Mourn not, though your hopes are blighted, Weep not that your darling's dead. The joys of yon heaven eternal Shall dwell on her innocent head. She passed from a world of sorrow, She has entered a land of rest; Her home is among the angels, Her cradle, the Savior's breast. Sweetly sleep thou dear departed, In thy low and narrow bed Til the sound of the Trump shall awaken The host of the sleeping dead. Your mother, Ara A.
