 Denison  The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, June 10, 1883 Capt. Chas. G. Strahan, a painter in the employ of Chas. Hotchkiss, died early Friday morning, and was buried Friday evening. Capt. Strahan has been in Denison about 2 years, and during that time has conducted himself creditably. He helped to do the painting on the McDougal Opera House and other fine buildings in the city.
