LOCAL NEWS NOTES
J.W. Hodges, a former resident of Denison, died Monday at Fort Worth and the remains arrived here this afternoon and were interred in Oakwood cemetery.
During his residence here, he made his home at No. 802 South Houston Avenue.

LOCAL NEWS NOTES
The funeral of J.W. Hodges, who died at Fort Worth, were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the undertaking rooms of Shield & Short, Rev. Talley conducting a short service.  
The deceased was a member of the United Confederate Veterans and a number of members of that organization were in attendance.  The funeral was at Oakwood Cemetery.
