A resident of Denison 7 years, Mrs. Lula Lewis, 62, widow of George Lewis, died this morning at 3:50 at her home, 924 W. Crawford.
Funeral services to be in charge of the Denison Funeral Home will be announced later.  Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis was born November 7, at Uvalde, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cummins.  She married Mr. Lewis, a railroad locomotive inspector, November 24, 1895 at McAlester, Oklahoma, and residing for a time in San Antonio moved to Denison.  Mr. Lewis died in 1936.  She was a member of the Later Day Saints church.
Surviving are a son, R.V. Lewis of Miami, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Maude Powell of Ada, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Mildred Burks of Denison; a sister, Mrs. Aaron Duncan of Sulphur, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

DEATH ROLL
Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Lewis. 62. resident of Denison 7 years, who died Monday morning at her home, 924 W. Day, were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Denison Funeral Home chapel, Elder Shirley, pastor of the Latter Day Saints church, officiating.
Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery, Denison Funeral Home directing.  Pallbearers were Lewis Hawkins, Ollie Maye, Edward Widenhouse, R.L. Rice, George Hawkins, and Bill Johnson.
