Services for Edgar Elmore Walker, 87 of Collinsville were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Newsom and Rev. Charles Hite conducting the services.  Mr. Walker died Monday at the Collinsville Care Home from an extended illness.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion cemetery under the direction of Richards Funeral Home.
Mr. Walker was born on September 12, 18__ in Fort Knox, Tenn, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Walker.  He married Beulah Cox on January 26, 1910 at Collinsville.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he was a deacon.  
Survivors include his wife; a son, Clarence Walker of Dallas; four daughters, Mrs. Frances Johnson of Gainesville, Mrs. Thelma Russell of Collinsville, Mrs. Viola Woody of Duncan, Okla., and Mrs. Dorothy Bishop of Grand Prairie; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two grandchildren, deceased; and one son, deceased.

Services for Mrs. Ettie Beulah Walker, 89, of Collinsville were held Saturday, February 9 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, southwest of Collinsville.  She died Thursday, February 7, 1980 at the Collinsville Care Home.  Bro. Hugh Newsome of the Collinsville Miller Memorial Baptist Church conducted the services.  Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Huff Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
Mrs. Walker was born on September 20, 1890 in Cooke County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.G.W. Cox.  She married Edgar Elmore Walker, who preceded her in death on March 8, 1977 [sic].  Mrs. Walker was a housewife and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Bishop of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Thelma Russell and Mrs. Frances Johnson, both of Gainesville, and Mrs. Viola Woody of Duncan, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Russell, Delmer Decker, Johnnie Russell, Bob Johnson, Danny Bishop, Bill Johnson, Albie Walker, and Jimmy Russell.
