Robert "Bobby" Ivan Cox, 71, of Collinsville, Texas passed away on October 27, 2018 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville, Texas.  A graveside service was held Thursday, November 2, 2018 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery, west of Collinsville.  Rev. Duke Dowling officiated.
Bobby was born October 28, 1946 in Whitesboro, Texas, son of Oliver "Pete" Ivan Cox and Nellie Lucille Crockett Cox.  Mr. Cox served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969 and in the Vietnam War, 1966 - 1967.  Bobby loved taking care of the farm, his tractors and cars.  He liked to watch war movies and westerns and listen to good ole country music.  Bobby donated to many charities in his lifetime, some being the D.A.V., N.R.A., and the Mt. Zion Cemetery where many of his family members are buried.  He was generous, loved hunting and shooting.
He is survived by two brothers, Robert and wife, Beth Cox of Collinsville; and Douglas and wife, Okyo Cox of Deniton, Texas; 4 nieces; 1 nephew; 6 great-nieces; and 7 great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
