Friday, June 17, 1955 pg. 2 Funeral services for A.W. Kusch, 71, of 428 E. Woodard, were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Ray Milligan officiating. Interment was in Mt. Tabor cemetery with Bratcher-Moore Funeral Home in charge. Kusch died Monday afternoon at 5:25 p.m., after 2 days of illness. He had operated a garage in the 200 block on W. Woodard for a number of years. In the early 1920s here he had the dealership for the Chevrolet and before coming to Denison 37 years ago, he had been a Ford automobile dealer. He had extensive real estate holdings. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Deceased was born in West Bay City, Michigan, February 3, 1884, son of Mr. and Mrs. K.G.A. Kusch. He was married in 1933 to Nettie Shires. Survivors are his widow, Denison; a brother, O.F. Kusch of Sherman; and a sister Mrs. Anna Garrison, Denison.
