Mrs. Fred Worthington, 50, of 730 W. Chestnut street died Sunday morning at her home following an illness of over two months.  Funeral services were held at Mt. Tabor near Gordonville, where interment took place.  Rev. Ray Short officiated and Short-Murray directed.
Born February 8, 1893, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Collyer of Southmayd.  She was married September 12, 1912.  Her church was the Methodist.
Surviving are her husband; seven sons, Charles of Denison; D.C., George, Fred, Wilton Earl, Billy Ray and Jackie, all of Sherman; daughters, Mrs. Bert McClure and Mrs. N.L. Winchester of Denison; and Mrs. Thomas Winchester, Mrs. Ben Embry and Miss Gerty Worthington, all of Sherman; brothers, Carl and Wm. Worthington of Denison; Roy, Sam and Bud Worthington of Kirkland; sisters, Mrs. W.D. Bentlep and Mrs. Louie Scott of Denison; Mrs. Tommy Albrighton of Childress; and Mrs. John Kempsel of Kirkland.
