SADLER - Funeral services for Cheryl Kay Hickman, 64, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Jack Wallace and Rev. Jody Dyer officiating. Services are under the direction
of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Sandusky. Visitation will be from 7 -8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 at the funeral home. 

Cheryl passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009 at her residence. 
She was born on June 25, 1945 in Fort Worth to Joe A. and Vallorene (Armistead) Holder. Cheryl graduated from Carter Riverside High School in Fort Worth. She married Jerry Hickman on Aug. 30, 1963 in Fort Worth. Cheryl lived for her family and never missed any of her children's baseball games, football games, gymnastic events, etc. Cheryl also loved to travel and enjoyed gardening and arts and crafts, especially cross-stitching. 
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Hickman of Sadler; sons, David Hickman of Sadler and Gregg Hickman and wife Kim of Whitesboro; a daughter, Valerie Langford and husband Lee of Sherman; grandchildren, Brian and Brianna Hickman; Garrett, Channing, Weston and Carson Hickman; and Clay, Luke and Libby Langford. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Vallorene Holder. 
Pallbearers are Rodney Dickson, Billy Wolf, Russ Wilson, Doug Rodgers, Dallas Schares and Bert Langford. 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the National Hydrocephalus Foundation, 12413 Centralia Rd., Lakewood, CA 90715-1653
