Gordonville - Funeral services for Fred Junior Henry, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Wendyl Glenn officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sandusky.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 at the funeral home.
 Fred passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
 Born on June 11, 1936 in Hobbs, N.M. to Oscar Fred and Vera Lucille Henry, he was one of 21 children.  Fred married Francis Louise Kisselburg on Dec. 24, 1955 in Memphis, Texas.  He was an oil driller by profession.  Frew was easy going with a great sense of humor.  He lived his life one day at a time.  Fred enjoyed trying new things and was very adventurous.  He especially loved fishing with his grandchildren. As well as deer hunting and vacationing in Colorado.  But most of all, he loved his entire family.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Henry of Gordonville; daughters, Wanda Wainscott and husband Larry of Sadler, and Twilla Henry of Whitesboro; sons, Fred Dwayne Henry and wife, Elizabeth of Colbert; grandchildren; a brother, Ray Henry of Sadler; a sister, Joanne Rich of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 18 brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers are Cole Henry, Dillon Henry, Dusty Wainscott, Jeremy Henry, Randel Golden and Robert Golden.
