Uncle
George Morris, an old resident and well known citizen of this county,
died at his home 4 miles northeast of Van Alstyne on Wednesday of last
week at 10 o'clock a.m., and was interred in the Morris grave yard on
Thursday evening at 3 o'clock. Many relatives and friends were
present to pay a tribute of respect to a kind husband, an indulgent
father, and true friend. The Register extends its sympathy to the
family of the deceased.
