DENISON - A Life celebration for Mrs. Marie Antoinette Walker, 75, of Denison was held at 11 a.m. November 1, 2012 at Greater Coffey Memorial Church Of God In Christ located at 231 W. Texas St in Denison. Rev. Commie Linson officiated along with Rev. Quinn Gipson as the Messenger. Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery. 
Marie was born February 10, 1939 to loving parents L.S. Woods and Ellanessa Baker in Denison.
She enjoyed many hobbies including being outside, gardening and cooking. Marie loved talking on the phone, but most of all she loved having all her boys and grandchildren together at the house. She was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and using the latest slang, to amuse people.
On Saturday, October 27, 2012, the Lord God called Marie A. Walker from her labor to her reward.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mr. Granville Walker Sr. of Denison; sons, Granville (Warrennette) Walker Jr., of Charlotte, North Carolina; Orrin E. (Anquanett) Walker, Sr., of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Orville E. Walker, of Denison; Ramon L. (LaTonya) Walker Sr., of Denison; Dennis A. Walker, of McKinney; sister, Wanda (J.C.) Lewis, of Dallas; brothers, Rickey Woods, of Dallas; Raymond T. Woods, of Graham, Washington; sister-in-law, Debra Owens (Larry), Sherman; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
The Walker Family is under the personal care of Cravens Funeral Home in Denison located at 1801 W. Morton St.
