DENISON - Funeral services for Bertha Mae Wilfork, 87, of Denison, were held Monday afternoon, July 19, 2010, in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry DeHorney officiated, and burial was in Magnolia Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Angelic Mortuary in Sherman.
She died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, in Denison.
Surviving are her sons, Charles Edward Wilfork of Huntsville, Alabama; Larry Gene Maupins of Columbus, Georgia; Rev. James Henry Alexander of Waco; and Lonnie Grant of Fontana, California; daughters, Georgia Mae Wilfork of Los Angeles, California; and Emma Bell Hunter of Denison; brother, Curtis Jeffery Jr. of Denison; sister, Rose Marie Jeffery of Dallas; and 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Denison - Services for Linda Faye Washington, 58-year-old Denison resident, were held Thursday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Denison.  Mrs. Washington died Friday, March 14, 2008 in Denison.  Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery in Denison.
Surviving are her husband, Lemual Washington; daughter, Tracy Maupins; mother, Ertha Wilfork; sisters, Georgia Range and Emma Hunter; brothers, Charles Wilfork, Larry Maupins, James Alexander, and Lonnie Grant.
W.A. Pipkins Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.
