Nancy Mae Jackson of Denison, Texas, passed away at the age of 77 years old.  She was called home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2022.
She was born November 19, 1944 in Denison, Texas.  She attended Terrel High School.  She was married to James Ray Jackson, and they were together for 27 years and married for 13 years on February 14, 2008.  She is the daughter of John Henry Cox and Elizabeth Pierce.   Her siblings were Laura Flemings, Joyce Crumby, John Cox, Larry Cox.
She was preceded by her daughter, Sharon Mundine; son, Gary Mundine; brothers, Michael Childs and Kenneth Wayne Childs.
She is survived by her husband, James Jackson; daughters and sons: Terry Lynn Nelson, Legather Ann Mundine, Kimberly Yvette Lacy, Jeremiah Hays Mundine, and David Leon Mundine.  She has 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church and community.  She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess.  Also, she was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Funeral service was held Monday morning, April 25, 2022 at Hopewell Baptist Church, Denison, with Rev. C.E. Evans officiating.  Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to James E. Smith and the professionals of Waldo Funeral Home. - - - Waldo Funeral Home
