Whitesboro - Funeral for Emma Bell VanBuskirk, 82, of Whitesboro, who died June 28, 1992 in the Wilson N. Jones Hospital will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Huff Funeral Home with Rev. Thad Mills officiating. Burial will be in the Macomb Cemetery.
Ms. VanBuskirk was born May 19, 1910 in Paris, daughter of James Aaron and Dove Greer Aaron. She married Marvin Stewart May 1, 1930 in Hugo. She later married J.B. VanBuskirk, May 10, 1958 in Lubbock. A homemaker, she was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Whitesboro.
Surviving are four sons, Charles Stewart, Shorty Stewart, both of Whitesboro, Jimmy Stewart of Walnut Springs, Jerry Stewart of Northglenn, Colo.; four daughters, Marie Gibbs, Cricket Howard, Joyce Williams, Christine Brookshear, all of Whitesboro; 30 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 Tuesday night.
