Mr. Grady Everett departed this life Thursday, November 8, 1973.  He was the son of the late Seth and Mollie Everett.
Mr. Everett united with the Church of Pilot Grove in his early childhood, being an active member there until he moved his membership to Van Alstyne and united with the Samaria Baptist Church.  He was a devoted and faithful member until his health failed.
Mr. Everett was also a member of Eastern Pride Lodge No. 198 Knights of Pythias.
On April 1, 1936 he married the late Mrs. Annie Everett and to this union 5 children were born.
Survivors - two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Golden, Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Mae D. Hickson, Van Alstyne; three sons, Bobby Ray and Monroe Everett, Van Alstyne; and William Cart Everett, Inglewood, California; 15 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Mrs. Versia Smith, Miss Juanita Everett, and Miss Louise Everett, Dallas; Mrs. Alma Murphy, Van Alstyne; and Mrs. Alice Reed, Sherman; one brother, Royce Everett, Dallas; and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.
