Graveside services for lifelong Grayson County resident Colquitt "Nudge" Orr, 83 year old retired oil field worker, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Luella Cemetery.  He died Sunday June 25, 1995 at Heritage Country Manor Nursing Home.
Waldo Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mr. Orr was born in Luella on June 18, 1912, the son of Harry and Lilly Porter Orr, and attended Luella schools.  He married Leoma Pearl Cundiff on October 28, 1937, in Durant, Oklahoma.
He farmed in Grayson County for serveral years.  Later, he was a roustabout in the oilfields, working for Standard Oil Company and Brown and Root.  He retired in 1978 as crew chief.  He was a member of the old Walnut Street Church of Christ.
Surviving are his son, Gene Orr of Sherman; daughter, Nelda Vanneste of Sherman; brother, Bill Orr of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters, Betty dalton, Della Ford and Ruby Kumler, all of Sherman; three grandsons, Robert, Ronnie and Randy Vanneste; granddaughter, Gala Dawn Orr; three great-grandchildren, Casey, Mitch and Christopher; two step-great-grandchildren, Allen and Katy St. Clair; and nieces and nephews.


LEOMA PEARL ORR

Sherman - Graveside services for Leoma Pearl Orr, 78, of Sherman, who died March 25, 1992, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Luella Cemetery, Rev. Jim Stegall will officiate.
Mrs. Orr was born November 28, 1913 in the Enterprise Community in Grayson County, the daughter of Melvin Cundiff and Mary Daugherty. She married Colquitt Orr October 28, 1937, in Durant, Oklahoma.
She attended the Sperry School in West Grayson County and was a homemaker.
Formerly employed by Texas Cleaners and had also worked for Penn Cleaners in the early 1960's. She was a member of Park View Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, of Sherman; one son Gene Orr of Sherman; one daughter, Nelda Vaneste, of Sherman; four brothers, Wiley Cundiff of Sherman; and Thomas, Willie and Henry Cundiff all of Denison; two sisters, Ruby Waite of Temple, Texas; and Vera Crawford, of Oregon; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren
