April 18, 1958 Funeral services for Mrs. Mina B. Grooms, 78, were held at Bracher Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock; Rev. Graves officiated and interment was in Locust Cemetery. Mrs. Grooms was a resident of Pottsboro where she had lived for 50 years. She died Saturday afternoon, April 12 after seven years of illness. She was a native of Tennessee and a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include a son, Roy Grooms, of Pottsboro; two brothers, Charlie Sylvester and Freeman Sylvester of Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Owen of Grandbury, Texas; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
