 The Denison Herald Monday, September 29, 1919 DEATH ROLL Miss Sarah Lankford, age 74 years, residing 5 miles east of the city, died at 9 o'clock Saturday evening following a slight illness. Miss Lankford was probably one of the oldest residents in this vicinity, having held continued residence inthe house of her birth, east of the city, during her entire life. The deceased is survived by a brother, James Lankford, of this city. The funeral services were conducted from the home at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon and interment made at Lankford cemetery by George Shields, funeral director.
