Friday, March 1, 1901 pg.2 COUNTY NEWS Trenton - Mrs. Louisa Newcome died at her home in Kentuckytown on the 25th ult., aged 80 years. She and her husband, G.W. Newman [sic], came to Texas with a Kentucky colony, and settled where they both died, in 1870. She was a dutiful wife, a tender mother, a true friend, an obliging neighbor, and an humble Christian. She had been a a worthy member of the Methodist church for more than 60 years.
