Tuesday, February 5, 1929 MERCHANT FOUND SHOT TO DEATH IN MERCEDES STORE Mercedes, Feb. 5 - George W. Keirsey, proprietor of the variety store here, was found dead yesterday morning in the rear of his store with a bullet through his head and a pistol gripped in one hand. He was found by his business partner, C.L. Bunton. A verdict of suicide was rendered by Judge J.L. Stedman. Kiersey is survived by his wife and small daughter. Interment will be at Sherman.
