Sherman, September 3 - Funeral services were held Sunday for Benjamin F. Armstrong, 80, retired farmer, who made his home 3 miles north of Sherman on Hwy. 75.  Burial was in Holloway Cemetery at Howe.
Armstrong was born at Athens, Tennessee; he came to Texas 50 years ago.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Benny F. Armstrong of Rt. 1, Sherman; Richard E. Armstrtong of Dorchester; and C.C. Armstrong of Cleburne; two daughters, Miss Rilla Armstrong of Cleburne and Mrs. C.W. Caldwell of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters and eight grandchildren.
