SHERMAN - Funeral services for Betty Lou Brabham were held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 1 at Waldo Funeral Home. Dr. Eddy Johnson of the Grayson Bible Baptist Church officiated. Burial followed at Holloway Cemetery with Betty's grandsons serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Brabham, 71, passed away Sunday, May 27 in Sherman.
Betty was born October 16, 1940 in Whitewright to the late Vernon and Lola (Blakey) Miller. On July 3, 1992 Betty married George Brabham in Sherman. Betty was a devoted homemaker who loved and cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved all animals and enjoyed sitting on her back-porch swing, feeding the birds and other animals.
Mrs. Brabham is survived by her husband, George of Sherman; three children, Debbie Womack and her husband Charlie of Grand Prairie, Donna Thompson of Sherman, and Charlie Copeland and his wife Tina of Whitewright; one brother, Billy Joe Miller and wife Mattie of Sherman; sister, Barbara Wiggington of Denison; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Betty Ann Woods and Billy Woods; and four siblings, EJ Miller, Melvin Miller, Darlene Caccio, and Sally Teater.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses of Hospice Plus for their compassionate care during Betty's final days.
