BELLS - Wanda Aline Copeland Neal, 79, of Bells went home to be with the Lord on December 2, 2008 at her home. She was born on March 6, 1929 in Cedar to William Abner and Bula Mae Key Copeland.   Wanda was a 1946 graduate of Tom Bean High School in Tom Bean with honors.
Wanda married Ward Story Neal on June 5, 1947 in Sherman. She worked for Texas Instruments in Dallas and Sherman for 25 years and she retired from there in 1987. Wanda was known for all her love and compassion for others. She loved being with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Wanda was a long-time member of Antioch Baptist Church of Bells.
Survivors are: sons, Larry and Patricia Neal, Garry and Brenda Neal, all of Bells; daughters, Bula and Floyd Garner, Phyllis and Bobby Branham, all of Bells, and Sandra and Windell Huffhines of Whitesboro; grandchildren, Mark and Angie Garner of Bells, Teresa and Greg Hagood of Hendrix, Oklahoma, Rachelle and Bobby Doggett of Bells, Shane and Whitney Neal of Plano, Chad and Corrie Branham of Bells, Sonya and Jeremy Mitchell of Denison, Paul and Shaila Neal of Bells, Kristi and Brent Taraba of Bells, Renatta Neal of Bells, Randy and Brandi Neal of Krum, Cody Branham of Bells and Andrea Larson of Whitesboro.
Also 19 great-grandchildren, Brock and Hermione Hagood, Paige, Alyssa and Luke Garner, Riley Neal, Danielle and Cade Doggett, Carson and Colby Branham, Avery and Brittany Taraba, Ali and Ava Mitchell, Kyla, Aiden and Jesse Neal, Easton Neal and Hannah Larson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Neal in January 2000; and her grandson, Jessie Lynn Neal in 1978; her parents; brothers, Bobby Copeland, Don Copeland, and Paul Eugene Copeland; and her sister, Willa Mae Smith.
Her great-nephew Rev. Billy Neal Jr. of Bells First Baptist officiateed, with music provided by her special friend and neighbor Al Denson. Funeral services were held at Antioch Baptist Church in Bells, with burial following in Holloway Cemetery in Luella.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Mark Garner, Chad Branham, Shane Neal, Paul Neal, Randy Neal, Cody Branham, Greg Hagood, Bobby Doggett, Jeremy Mitchell and Brent Taraba. ---- Mullican-Little Funearl Home
