  Dr. Jeanne Smith Miller 16 December 1918 - 3 January 2009 "Pediatrician to Harlem and The Stars" The Herald Democrat January 11, 2009 VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Dr. Jean Smith Miller, 90-year-old Van Alstyne resident, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne with Douglas Beckenbach officiating. Dr. Miller died Saturday January 3, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. Burial followed at Holloway Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Richard Miller of Van Alstyne; stepchildren, Kirsten Miller Boyle of Havre, Mont. and Dr. Rebecca Miller Ammerman of Hamilton New York; and four grandchildren.
