 Thursday was a sad day, but the angels came to take our son Jordan Wayne Pointer to be with Jesus. Jordan, 24, was born on October 1, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He lived in Denton, Texas and worked at Love's. He passed way Friday, May 6, 2021 in Denton, Texas. Jordan is survived by his parents, Darryl Pointer and wife Cindy; and Dorothy Pointer; 2 brothers, Justin Pointer of Ft. Worth, Texas and Jace Pointer and wife, Alena, of Denton, Texas; one sister, Jessica Pointer of Sherman. He is also survived by 3 nephews, Dammion, Dillion, and Donny; step-brother, William Beene and wife, Kacie; step-sister, Christina Boynton and husband, Dyllon; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, May 11, 2021 at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Holloway Cemetery in Luella, Texas. Pallbearers were Bryan Caves, Ian St. Ives; William Beene, David McCain, Terry Campbell and Casey Campbell.
